彩山村位于秀篆镇境内，距镇区约5公里，属革命老区村。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村名取自彩堂与山都秀两个自然村名中各一字。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1950年此地属第六区焕塘乡，1951年改属第七区焕塘乡，1952年至1954年属第九区焕塘乡，1955年划入秀篆区焕塘乡，1956年改属官陂区焕塘乡。[1]

1958年9月从焕塘分出，单独设立彩山大队，隶属和平人民公社；1959年改属秀篆公社彩山大队。1984年10月改设秀篆乡彩山村，1992年3月改为秀篆镇彩山村。[1]
