吴坑村位于诏安县官陂镇驻地西北部，地处丘陵山区，地势从东南向西北倾斜。村名原作“五坑”，因地多山坑，后谐音改写为吴坑；1958年成立生产大队时以吴坑定名。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1984年，此地设为官陂乡下的吴坑村；1991年改称官陂镇吴坑村。[1]
地理环境[edit]
全村土地面积1000亩，其中山地409亩，水田340亩。村内水果种植较多，博雅地名网称该村素有「水果之乡」之称。[1]
