新坎村位于诏安县官陂镇中部，是镇内第三大的行政村。村名合取新屋城与坎上两个自然村各一字。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1984年，此地设为官陂乡下的新坎村；1991年改称官陂镇新坎村。[1]

地理环境[edit]

全村土地面积2944亩，其中山地2083亩。村子东侧与官北村相连，西边直到坎下彩，北面接新田里，南面与龙甲潭相连。[1]
