大边村位于诏安县官陂镇，地处丘陵，交通便捷。村名取意于邻近两村名中各一字，即“大”与“边”。博雅地名网称该村素有「水果之乡」之称。2015年，大边村被列入「福建省第一批省级传统村落」。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1984年，此地设为官陂乡下的大边村；1991年改属官陂镇。[1]
地理环境[edit]
全村土地面积1378亩，其中山地2750亩，户数1495户。村内物产较为丰富，是诏安县重点的水果、粮食村之一。[1]
