马坑村在官陂镇驻地北部的山区，东面与北面和平和县大溪镇接壤，西侧连着秀篆镇。村名源于龙伞岽的山形，状若骏马，山坑众多。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1954年，此地划入第八区，设马坑乡；1984年改为官陂乡下的村，1991年改属官陂镇。[1]
地理环境[edit]
村辖二十余个自然村，村中有龙伞岽、崇福楼等地名。全村土地面积约3.1万亩，其中山地约2.3万亩。[1]
村内有万亩杉林场，并有小水电站三座。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
1929年，栗竹头自然村设立过苏维埃政府；同年，龙伞岽成为「中国工农红军第十一军第六师第四十八团」的驻地。博雅地名网称，这两处旧迹均已列入县级文物保护。[1]
