溪林村位于霞葛镇西北部，距镇政府8千米，面积13.1平方千米。村名取岭下溪与桃李林各一字。1987年，原属赤竹坪林场的三个村合并为溪林村，1999年5月改由霞葛镇管辖。[1]

地理环境与人口[edit]
全村耕地261亩，山地2941亩。自然村3个：桃李林、龙狮与岭下溪，居民有黄、林两姓，黄姓居多。[1]
