华河村位于霞葛镇西南部，东面紧邻坑河村，南端为太平镇元中村，西面是太平镇新营村，北面与天桥村相连。1993年由坑河村分出并改名为华河村。全村下辖4个自然村，村内有三姑娘灌渠建筑，另有清代的三姑娘古墓遗迹。[1]

地名与历史沿革[edit]

1991年，华河从坑河大队分出另立大队；1993年改名华河村。[1]

1950年起，该地先后隶属第五区、第六区坑河乡，1961年从坑河大队折出成立华河大队，1984年改为官陂乡华河村民委员会；1987年6月划出，属霞葛乡；1992年3月改属霞葛镇华河村。[1]

地理环境与人口[edit]

全村耕地760亩，山地11000亩。4个自然村为黄茶、店下坪、下河赖和下河杨，村民分属7姓。[1]

2011年，全村总户数593户，总人口2532人，劳动力1800人，外出劳动力1100人。[1]

经济与名胜[edit]

村内的经济作物以杨梅、青梅、油茶和荔枝为主。2011年，农民人均纯收入3900元，工农业总产值499.5万元。[1]

村境内有雄伟的三姑娘灌渠建筑，另有清代的三姑娘古墓遗迹。[1]
