坑河村位于霞葛镇东南部，东与官陂镇彩霞村接壤，南面到太平镇元中村，西连华河村，北面与南陂村相邻。全村下辖7个自然村，村民以江姓为主。村内楼下自然村的金环宝塔为清乾隆二年建造。[1][2]

地名与历史沿革[edit]

1961年建大队时，取“坑头”与“下河”两村名各一字，故名坑河。[1]

1984年起称官陂乡坑河村民委员会，1987年6月划出，改属霞葛乡；1992年3月归入霞葛镇。[1]

地理环境与人口[edit]

全村耕地690亩，山地6679亩。[1]

自然村依次为悍涧、寮尾洋、下坪子、楼下、下坑头与上坑头，另有原名小元中、1996年改名兴元的一村，全村共15个村民小组。[1][2]
