白叶村是福建省漳州市诏安县太平镇下辖的行政村，以客家话为主要语言，全村有1675户。村名来自村中一株古树。村内的白叶峰山庵为清代古建筑，宋末元初的抗元首领陈吊眼也出生在这一带。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

村名与一株古树有关。白叶通往广东潮汕一带有一条古驿道，驿道交接处水挂磜路旁立有一株数百年的古树，树叶浅绿而略白，人称白叶树，村因此得名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1950年归第五区白叶乡，1954年前隶第七区白叶乡。1955年6月至1956年5月为太平区白叶乡，1958年9月并入团结人民公社白叶大队。1964年4月复隶太平公社，1984年10月置太平乡白叶村，1992年起称太平镇白叶村。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

白叶峰山庵位于村中山下自然村，为清代建造的古建筑，2016年6月28日列入「诏安县第十六批县级文物保护单位」，保护范围为庵墙外延东200米、西300米、南300米。[1]

著名人物[edit]

陈吊眼（1250年至1282年）是宋末元初率众抗元的首领，博雅地名网载其为白叶峒人，即今白叶村一带之人。[1][2]
