村委驻地为麻寮自然村，村名由此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1950年归第五区麻清乡，1955年9月至1956年6月为太平区麻寮乡。1958年9月并入团结人民公社麻寮大队，1984年10月置太平乡麻寮村委会，1992年起称太平镇麻寮村。[1]
