平屿村位于诏安南环城区，村内有屿仔、平寨、柳厝埭三个自然村。全村519户，总人口2235人，设14个村民小组，经济以农业为主。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村内有平寨、屿仔两个自然村，各取「平」「屿」一字为村名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1950年以后，村地属第一区，同斗门头、岸上一道组成岸屿乡；1955年6月划入城关区。1961年6月从岸屿乡析出斗门、岸上两村，另设平屿大队，属深桥白溪公社；1964年改属深桥公社平屿大队。1984年10月为深桥乡平屿村，1992年2月为深桥镇平屿村。[1]
