下园村在深桥镇西南部，沈海高速公路边，邻接华表村和后埔村。全村1443人，劳动力938人，外出打工与家庭代加工是村民的主要收入来源。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2024年2月，下园村被确定为「第二批福建省乡村振兴示范村镇」创建对象；同年6月，「福建省第四批高级版绿盈乡村」名单公布，下园村入选。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

解放后，村属第二、第五区后埔乡。1958年并入树美组成大队。1961年再度分出，归深桥区华表公社下园大队；1964年划归深桥公社。1984年10月起为深桥乡的下园村，1992年2月起为深桥镇的下园村。[1]
