溪南村位于深桥镇东南侧，漳诏高速公路旁，与埔上村接壤。全村近7000人，耕地约3500亩，是镇内面积最大、人口最多的行政村，也是县内荔枝、蔬菜的产地之一。[1]

2021年11月，福建省爱卫办授予溪南村「2021年福建省卫生村」称号。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1950年起村地属第二、第五区，1955年划入城关区，1956年5月改属西潭区，称溪南乡。1958年公社化后归红旗公社；1961年设深桥区溪南公社大队，1964年改属深桥公社溪南大队。1984年10月设深桥乡溪南村，1992年2月改为深桥镇溪南村。[1]
