万田村在深桥镇政府的西北面，北与西潭乡相邻，距县城约4公里。全村约900人，劳动力约500人。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

建国后，村地隶属第三、第六区的凤溪乡；1955年6月改划西潭区凤溪乡；1959年11月归深桥公社凤溪大队。1961年5月从凤寮、赤水溪中分出，另设万田大队，属深桥区深桥公社；1964年仍属深桥公社万田大队。1984年10月设深桥乡万田村，1992年2月起为深桥镇万田村。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年11月，福建省爱卫办授予万田村「2021年福建省卫生村」称号。2022年10月，福建省农业农村厅把万田村列为第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇。[1]
