深桥镇在福建省漳州市诏安县的西南部，东侧与南诏镇毗连，北面紧挨西潭乡，西南一端以广东省饶平县为界。全镇下辖31个行政村，离镇政府最近的行政村是深桥村。[1][3]

镇名来自旧时的两处老地名，深灰桥与桥青庙，各取一字而成。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1950年，今镇域分别归第一、第五两区管辖。1958年经行政合并，这里改编进红旗人民公社，之后又以西潭公社的名义管理。1959年，深桥人民公社自西潭公社划出；1984年10月设为深桥乡；到1992年改称镇，名称延续至今。博雅地名网记深桥人民公社设于1959年，百度百科则记为1971年，两说并存。[1][3]

地理环境[edit]

镇内地势平坦。博雅地名网记该镇辖区6436公顷，其中耕地2513.7公顷。国道324线由东北往西南穿过全镇，漳诏高速公路的诏安南互通口也设在镇境内。[2]

经济[edit]

深桥镇是诏安县粮、油、果的主产区，人们常称它为「荔枝之乡」。[2] 博雅地名网载，闽粤边界开发区设在本镇，属首批设立的省级开发区；镇里也曾提出「打造边界工贸重镇」的发展思路。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2014年9月，镇获环境保护部门授予「2012年—2013年度国家级生态乡镇」称号。[1]

文物古迹[edit]

镇内的县级文物保护单位，有深桥村的「深桥三连公夫妇墓」、水溪村的「赤水溪碧溪祖祠」、华表村的「三通圣王庙及宝桥庵」「宝桥叶氏始初祖妈墓」、后埔村的「宝桥叶万六夫妇墓」、上营村的「上营叶健腾进士墓」。仕江村则有「仕江宝林祖祠（思敬堂）」「仕江武德侯庙（祀先堂）」和「沈氏家庙崇飨堂」三处。上营村的「分水关功覃闽粤坊」为明代石坊。[4][5][6][7][8][9]

著名人物[edit]

叶亹，字世黾，号龟峰。他于1521年考中进士，次年即1522年被授予江西南城县知县之职。博雅地名网称他为深桥镇上营村一带的人。[9]
