历史沿革[edit]
1950年代村地属东沈乡，1958年并入东方红人民公社东沈大队，1961年改设村中大队，隶属桥东公社。[1]
1984年改为乡属村，1992年改为镇属村。[1]
农业[edit]
村民以蔬菜种植为主，村中是韭菜的主要产区。村内设有蔬菜协会和红坑蔬菜合作社。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2021年11月，村庄获命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」，命名单位为福建省爱卫办。[1]
