林头村位于诏安湾畔，处在诏安、云霄、东山三县交界处，村名取自驻地林头自然村。村子以养殖和捕捞为主要产业。[1]

人口与村情[edit]

博雅地名网所载全村总人口4860人，党员140名，未注年份。村域耕地约3600亩，山林约2500亩，滩涂与浅海约5600亩。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

解放后林头属第四区林山乡，1955年至1956年间改设林头乡。1958年9月编入太阳升人民公社，设林头管理区。1961年5月起，村子成为四都区林头公社的林头大队；1964年4月改由四都公社统辖，1984年11月定为四都镇林头村。[1]

荣誉称号[edit]

2025年10月，林头村被认定为「漳州市2025年度市级“一村一品”专业村」，产品为珠蛤。[1]
