西梧村位于四都镇南部的沿海地带，拥有约1.8千米的海岸线，以海水养殖与捕捞为主，大梧牡蛎的产地之一。村名取义于它位于大梧村的西侧。[1][2]
2014年以后，村里靠党组织带头和“五心”工作法，清理并激活了集体资产。[3]
人口与村情[edit]
博雅地名网记有480户、党员82名，总人口2085人（未注年份）；百度百科所载常住人口为2155人，统计年份为2024年，二者口径不同。[1][3]
村域耕地约770亩，山地约2500亩，虾池养殖约1650亩，滩涂约3000亩，浅海约4500亩，村中有渔船210艘。[1]
村内牡蛎养殖发展成熟，并培育泥蚶苗和鱼苗，产品供应周边省份的海水养殖业。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
解放前后，村地先属第四区西港乡（1950年）。1961年5月起隶四都区，设林头公社下的西梧大队；1964年4月归四都公社西梧大队，1984年11月定为四都镇西梧村。[1]
荣誉称号[edit]
西梧村于2021年9月获「第二批全国乡村治理示范村」称号；同年11月，省爱卫部门命名它为「2021年福建省卫生村」。2020年12月，它入选「福建省第一批高级版绿盈乡村」。[1][3]
2025年3月，西梧村获评「第七届全国文明村镇」。[1]
