外埕村是诏安县四都镇下辖的行政村，属镇中心区，驻地以外埕自然村命名。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

解放前村地属奇湖镇外埕保。解放后归第四区四都乡，因沿用旧址而称外埕街。1956年并入西都区的勤劳社，1958年归太阳升人民公社。1961年，马厝城一带的外埕、上郭、后郭、竹林四个自然村组成一个大队，名为外埕大队。1984年11月改称四都镇外埕村。[1]

殡葬改革[edit]

百度百科称，外埕是漳州市级殡葬改革试点村，村中于2023年建成省内首个村级公益性生命公园，实行生态节地葬。[2]

荣誉称号[edit]

2025年11月，外埕村被确定为「2025年漳州市乡村振兴实绩突出村」。[1]
