北关社区位于南诏镇中心区，地处县城北门一带，因此得名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

解放前属东北镇，编为二保、二十五甲，其中真君保辖十三甲，慈云保辖十二甲。解放后设成一街四片，叫第八街，文革时改为八一大队。[1]

1969年并入部分第七街户籍组，改称二街；1971年划出一部分后恢复第八街之名，1981年成为北关街，2003年改为北关社区。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年11月，福建省爱卫办授予北关社区「2021年福建省卫生社区」称号。[1]
