南关社区位于南诏镇中心区，早年在旧县城南门外，故得此名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

解放前分为三个保。解放后分为三片，东里、信义、仁爱三片合称第五街。[1]

文革中改名“五四”大队，1979年重新称第五街，1981年为南关街，2003年为南关社区。[1]
