赵家城村是湖西畲族乡下辖的行政村，村内有赵家堡，是乡内三处国家级重点文物保护单位之一。[1][2][3]

地名由来[edit]

村名与赵家堡有关：村中聚居的是南宋皇族后裔，村委会设在赵家城城堡的北门，故名赵家城。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1940年，此地划归湖西乡硕高保；1944年改入岭脚保。1958年9月归赤湖公社管辖，1961年7月隶属湖西公社岭脚大队。[1]

1984年8月仍为岭脚村的一部分，1985年分出另设村级单位。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

赵家堡是南宋皇族闽冲郡王赵若和的后裔所建的古城堡，明代万历年间由赵范扩建，外城、内城与完璧楼的布局仿照北宋汴京。[3][4]

荣誉[edit]

2014年11月，赵家城村进入「第三批中国传统村落」名录。[1]

2021年2月，赵家城村列入「福建省2018—2020年度省级文明村镇社区」名单；福建省绿化委员会于2022年12月将赵家城村定为「2022年福建省森林村庄」。[1]
