枋林村是湖西畲族乡下辖的行政村，1985年2月自岭脚村析出设立，同年归湖西乡管辖。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村中旧时多枫树，原名枫林；本地方言中「枫」与「枋」谐音，遂改称枋林。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1984年7月以前，此地是湖西公社岭脚大队的一部分。1985年2月自岭脚村析出，单独设枋林村，归湖西乡管辖。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2022年10月，福建省农业农村厅将枋林村列为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。[1]

2024年9月，枋林村获漳州市评定为「一村一品」专业村（2024年度市级），主产青椒。[1][2]
