新民村是大南坂镇辖下唯一的行政村，城乡分类上属村庄，与镇内十三个社区并列[2]。

历史沿革[edit]

1972年，因兴建山美水库，居民迁入大南坂农场的农建二队。此后撤销农建二队，改设新民大队，1999年设立新民村[1]。2011年正式挂牌，沿用至今[1]。

荣誉[edit]

新民村于2021年11月获评「2021年福建省卫生村」[1]。
