芳埔社区在大南坂镇，城乡分类上属村庄，是镇里的一个居民社区[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

村名旧作福坊，又称荒埔；后因“芳”“荒”同音，定名芳埔[1]。清代居八部洋保，民国时期归盘陀乡蒲野保管辖[1]。

1958年划归石古农场。1964年2月起，石古第三分场的芳埔作业区归大南坂第一分场管辖。1999年提出芳埔村的申报，2011年设村并挂牌，2019年7月改设芳埔社区居民委员会，沿用至今[1]。
