半湖村位于古雷半岛中部，地势平坦，北与坡内村接壤，南与龙口村交界，东邻杏仔村并临浮头湾，西临东山湾。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
早年村旁有一片半圆形的湖，村名由此而来。1955年11月村子划归漳浦时隶属古雷区；1958年9月编入杜浔公社古雷管理区的半湖大队，1961年7月成立古雷公社后仍称半湖大队。[1]
1984年9月撤社建乡，改为古雷乡（后改镇）的半湖村，沿用至今。[1]
地理环境[edit]
新、旧杜古线公路都经过村境。村中多为沙壤地，农业用水多靠打井取水。[2]
经济[edit]
半湖村以农业为主，作物以番薯、花生为主，蔬菜则有芦笋、葱蒜、萝卜，芦笋曾有过外销兴旺的阶段。因滩涂少，水产养殖也不多。[2]
