油沃村位于古雷半岛中部，北与古雷村相接，南与坡内村相邻，东面临浮头湾，西面临东山湾。村庄原名油澳，后更名为油沃。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村子原叫油澳，因靠近海边、便于船只停靠，取名时寄望出海捕鱼获利丰厚；方言里「澳」与「沃」音近，后来改写作油沃。[1]
此村1955年11月自东山县转入漳浦，属古雷地区七乡之一。1958年9月隶属杜浔公社古雷管理区的油澳大队，1961年7月改由古雷公社油澳大队管理；1984年9月撤社建乡，成为古雷乡（后改镇）之下的油澳村，之后才更名为油沃村。[1]
地理环境[edit]
村子东侧的浮头湾多用定置网捕捞，西侧东山湾的潮间带则是浅海及滩涂养殖区，以紫菜、海带和牡蛎为主。耕地以农地为主，种植番薯、芦笋和葱蒜等蔬菜。[2]
