古雷村是古雷镇辖内的行政村，位于古雷半岛中部，原名东林，辖东林、河边、寮翁三个自然村，村名取自古雷山。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
古雷山旧作鼓雷山，村名由此山而来。村庄自1955年11月起由东山县改隶漳浦县，归古雷地区管辖。1958年9月隶属杜浔公社古雷管理区的下东大队；1961年7月成立古雷公社时，下东大队一分为二，本村所在的一支称东林大队。1981年11月东林大队改称古雷大队，1984年撤社建乡后改为行政村，沿用至今。[2][3]
地理环境[edit]
村北连下堀村，南接油沃村，东面为浮头湾（后江），西靠东山湾（前江）。新、旧杜古线公路都经过村境，村子坐落在杜古线的中段。[2]
经济[edit]
后江海滩用作鲍鱼养殖，前江海滩养殖牡蛎与海带；农地种植芦笋、番薯、花生。村中商业与服务业分布在杜古线两侧，有多家店铺。[3]
据博雅地名网所记，镇政府、卫生院、邮电局、镇中学等设在本村，它是全镇的政治、经济与文化中心。[3]
