古雷镇位于福建省漳州市漳浦县最南端，座落在伸入台湾海峡的古雷半岛上，半岛三面环海，北端与杜浔镇北坂村接壤。1992年古雷乡改设为镇，截至2020年6月，全镇下辖17个社区和13个行政村。[1][2]

地理环境[edit]

古雷半岛自北向南伸入海中，最宽处约三四千米，最窄处只有300米；半岛南部的古雷山北峰海拔270米，是半岛的最高处。[3][9]

古雷山旧作鼓雷山，据旧县志所载，因「潮音时至，声如鼓雷」得名；另一种说法认为山形如螺，故称高螺，雅称古雷。[3]

半岛东侧临浮头湾，西侧临东山湾，南端古雷头山以外即台湾海峡。下港一带水深，有古雷头山和古雷山挡风，海面终年不结冰，是一处天然避风的深水港，古雷头上建有航标灯塔。[4]

历史沿革[edit]

宋代此地归漳浦县常乐乡绥康里管辖，明清时期则划入九都。[2]

民国五年古雷一带改隶东山县，1955年重新划归漳浦，设立古雷区。[2]

1958年春改设古雷乡，当年十月起隶属杜浔人民公社。至1961年7月，此地又成了古雷人民公社；1984年8月改称古雷乡，1992年2月才改作镇。[2]

漳浦县政府2023年11月公布的行政区划一览表未收古雷镇，而该县2024年末的户籍人口统计注明含古雷。[5][6]

博雅地名网将古雷镇列为古雷开发区下辖，开发区管理委员会则以「东山湾古雷经济技术开发区」为名对外。[3][7]

依百度百科，2019年末登记的户籍人口为46984人，辖区面积1.89平方千米。[1]

经济[edit]

渔业是全镇的主业，农业居次。浅海与滩涂养殖鲍鱼、扇贝、牡蛎、对虾、海带和紫菜，海上捕捞则以剑虾、梭子蟹等为主；陆地上种植芦笋、番薯和花生。[4]

名胜古迹[edit]

明正统六年（1441年）筑成古雷城，正德十年（1515年）又加修葺，城内设古雷巡检司，城址在今古城村一带。[8]
