院前村是福建省漳州市漳浦县沙西镇下辖的行政村，位于镇中部北侧，村落坐落在虎头山南麓。[1][2]

村名来自虎头山后的古寺台教院，该寺俗称和尚院。[1]

2010年10月，县政府把院前村列为革命老区村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

宋时属常乐乡绥康下里，明代属十都；清代归铜山营镇标左营的屿前保。民国初年为南区，1928年改入第二自治区，1944年属屿头乡。[1]

解放初编入十二区西山乡，1955年9月随十二区并入杜浔区。1984年9月，村改属沙西乡；1993年沙西乡改为镇，此后仍称院前村。[1]

民国二十五年（1936年）前后，「中国工农红军闽南独立团第三团」所属的梁山游击队驻扎在村后山，以汤头庙为中转站，在院前社开展活动。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

石龟山位于村后，山上发现过新石器时代的文化遗址，出土了石器与雷纹陶片。县里把石龟山划为文物保护区，出土的新石器藏于县博物馆。[2]

台教院约建于唐末，后被焚毁，现存和尚墓碑一通。[2]
