鳌东村位于福建省漳州市漳浦县六鳌镇南部，在六鳌半岛中部，北与大澳村交界，南与鳌西村相邻，东与东门村相邻，西临浮头湾。1984年9月，原鳌中大队分设鳌东、鳌西两村，鳌东村辖上墩、徐角、林角三个自然村。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
清代，鳌东属龙鳌保，民国时称鳌东保。新中国成立后，六鳌先归第四区，1952年改归第九区，鳌东便是其下的鳌中乡。1958年9月，第九区更名深土公社，鳌中随之改为生产大队；1964年9月另设六鳌公社，鳌中改隶该社。1984年9月，鳌中一分为二，成为鳌东与鳌西两村。[2]
姓氏[edit]
上墩自然村以陈姓为主，另有几户林姓。陈姓分红旗、白旗两支，其中红旗陈氏源自深土镇钱塘（今塘头村），迁入六鳌上墩已传到第四十六世；白旗陈氏自旧镇西林迁来，迁入时间无法考证。村中有六鳌最著名的“三支牌”墓。[2]
徐角自然村多为徐姓，祖先是明代军籍，明永乐年间随军调驻陆鳌守御千户所，后裔分布于鳌东一带。林角自然村以林姓为主，也有几户曾姓。[2]
生产[edit]
村里有耕地、林地与大片滩涂，近年大量发展芦笋种植，并养殖紫菜、虾蟹和网箱鱼类。捕捞与养殖是全村主要的经济支柱，部分劳动力外出务工。[2]
