锦东村是福建省漳州市漳浦县深土镇下辖的行政村，位于镇域西南部，在灶山南麓、浯江出海口一带。北与示埔村为邻，东边与车鳌村接壤，西边与旧镇镇上蔡村交界，浯江对岸是霞屿。[1]

锦东旧名江头，取意为由浮头湾海域驶入浯江的入口。村内的锦江楼是国家重点文物保护单位。[2][3]

历史沿革[edit]

乌石林氏第九世林黻（字廷华）看中江头的沃土，率子侄前来垦荒，逐渐形成村社；嘉靖年间建大祖祠「绍德堂」。清初迁界，族人内迁乌石约二十年，复界后迁回江头。[1]

传至江头第七世林升泽，靠肩挑小贩起家，后经商致富。乾隆五十六年（1791年）他开始建造圆土楼，命名为锦江楼，村名也由江头改为锦江。[1][3]

民国时期锦江属海乌乡，民国33年（1944年）并乡保后改属金塘乡，与东埔社合编为一保，名锦东。新中国成立后属第九区（后改深土区），1958年为深土公社锦江大队；公社改乡镇后为锦东村，村名一直沿用。[1]

村辖江头、西平、下江、楼脚四个自然村。[1]

文物古迹[edit]

锦江楼位于锦江自然村，为内、中、外三圈的圆形土楼。内圈为林升泽所建，中圈与外圈护厝由其妻李灿续建，嘉庆八年建成。2001年2月，福建省政府公布锦江楼为第五批省级重点文物保护单位。[1]

据百度百科，锦江楼于2006年被公布为第六批全国重点文物保护单位。[3]
