林埭村是马坪镇下辖的行政村，位于镇西南部，全村有5个自然村。境内有火山地貌、古生物化石群、月亮湾和古村落等资源。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

明代，杨氏文宗祖来到此地开基建社。村子背靠鸿儒江，在江畔围埭建基，村因此得名林埭。[2]

明清时此地属福兴里，后改为福兴保。1940年划入林东乡，1944年并入前坪乡。解放初设林埭乡，隶第五区佛昙区；1958年9月，它成为佛昙公社林埭大队。1984年改称佛昙镇林埭村，1987年8月随佛昙镇析出的马坪乡管辖，1992年马坪乡改镇。[2][3]

地理环境[edit]

杨美、石过陂两处小溪在村境合流，成为鸿江上游，流经全村。村东南以大荟山与佛昙接壤。[2]

村内共有5个自然村，依次是园中央、十二（字）路、山后，以及林埭大社与曾厝（含石牌、溪尾）。[2][3]

名胜古迹[edit]

村内的火山地貌、古生物化石群、月亮湾与古村落，是县政府列出的优势资源。[1]

文化[edit]

林埭村于2024年1月获得「2023年福建省卫生村」称号。2021年12月，村被确定为「福建省第二批高级版绿盈乡村（乡镇）」。[2]
