庄厝村是福建省漳州市漳浦县前亭镇下辖的行政村，位于镇境南部，是一个三面临海的半岛式村庄。村域面积8.9平方公里，辖庄厝、高岑两个自然村。庄姓聚居于此，是闽南庄姓的大型聚居地之一。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

村庄原名「霞美」，取名于庄氏始祖入闽前后居住的永泰县山桃源霞美里。闽南话中「霞美」读音近「下尾」，1944年为避免与漳浦县霞美镇同名，改称「庄厝」。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

宋代至民国初年，庄厝隶属漳浦县二十三都沙澳保。村子在明万历年间（约1573年）兴建，庄美万为开基者，属入漳始祖庄公望之后第三代。[2]

清康熙戊戌年（1718年），村内庄坑中进士，授湖北涞水知县，朝廷所赐「会魁」「文魁」匾额至今存于村内大祠堂。他的儿子庄登丰于乾隆二十一年（1756年）考中举人。[2]

村域先设霞美保（1934年），归前亭联保；1940年改入前江乡，1944年霞美改名庄厝，隶属前坪乡。1950年10月设庄厝乡，1956年并入前亭乡，1958年9月为佛昙公社前亭管理区的生产大队。1984年9月改为庄厝村，1992年2月隶属前亭镇。[2]

人口与经济[edit]

2011年末，村内住有992户，共3757人，另有外来人口71人左右。当年农民人均收入为8500元。[2]

村内有前亭镇最大规模的虾池，东、南、西三面的滩涂由县、镇、村共同围垦为虾池。[2]

教育与设施[edit]

村内有庄厝小学和一所公立幼儿园。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

村后山地上完整保留着庄坑为其祖父和母亲修建的两座古坟。[2]
