历史沿革[edit]
清代为象牙庄保，雍正十一年自南靖县划归漳浦。民国时期属浦美保；新中国初期为第二区墟中乡，后改设象牙乡。1958年9月设石榴公社象牙大队，1984年改为象牙村委会，沿用至今。[1]
自然村与古迹[edit]
村辖10个自然村。村中有4座古三合土楼：垂裕楼（又称铺尾楼）为清光绪二年所建的方形三层楼，保存完好；顶土楼、内角楼、顶车楼。[1]
径口桥在与平和县五寨乡交界处，为古石拱桥，桥头有观音亭。墟圩之中有一座开漳圣王庙，每年农历正月十一至十八日村民为王公庆寿。[1]
革命旧址[edit]
浦尾自然村属象牙村，村中留有邓子恢当年宣传革命时的住处旧址，原为村民吴氏的住宅，新中国成立后仍保留着。1931年底，邓子恢来到石榴一带，在象牙村及周围村庄建立秘密农会，领导农民开展武装斗争。[3]
