历史沿革[edit]
民国时期，村地是官浔镇的赵厝保。新中国初期，村归第三区的官浔镇管辖。1958年9月，村中设赵厝大队，隶属长桥公社；1984年8月改属长桥乡。1985年5月起归官浔乡，1990年4月随之改镇。[1]
姓氏与祖祠[edit]
村中赵姓据称是宋太祖第四子秦王赵德芳的后裔。南宋末年，一支先祖随宗室入闽，景炎元年（1276年）获封清漳成忠郎，并移居漳州。其后裔在赵厝开基，因居南溪之滨，称南溪赵，建有祖祠「基德堂」。[1]
基德堂之外，村中另有支祠12座。村中还有四世祖赵超的墓，墓道碑镌有其所受封号。[1][4]
古迹[edit]
村中有古楼两座，即赵家楼与裕昆楼。县政府列为县级文物保护单位的「赵家土楼」与「赵厝绳武庙」，据介绍为宋室皇族后裔所修。[3][4]
村中的帝君庙供奉关帝，农历正月初五为关帝诞辰。[1]
自然环境与防洪[edit]
村中南溪边的稻田常受洪水之害。1969年修了一道长1200米的防洪堤，1978年又在溪上建成拦溪石坝，灌溉村中千亩稻田。1999年又铺设水泥村道。[4]
著名人物[edit]
古代的举人有赵超（明天顺三年中举，官国子监博士）与赵从谊（明万历十三年中举，官永康知州）。赵超之子赵浑在明成化十七年中进士，官至云南、思恩、雷州知府。[1]
