董门村在霞美镇南端一带，东面是旧镇港，对岸为六鳌半岛，西面连着溪仔村，北面挨着白石村，如今也与北江村相邻。村北旧有一座斗门，「董门」与「斗门」音近，村名由此而来[1]。

荣誉[edit]

2020年12月，被确定为「福建省第一批高级版绿盈乡村」。2025年3月，被认定为「福建省第一批省级乡村振兴示范村」。[1]

沿革[edit]

1940年，此地为白石乡下的董门乡。1944年白石乡并入霞美乡，董门成为霞美乡白石保的一部分。新中国初期属第四区旧镇区的董门乡。1958年9月设旧镇公社北江管理区董门大队，1961年7月改隶霞美公社。1984年称霞美乡董门村，1990年随乡改镇。[1]

文化[edit]

村中有一支提线木偶戏班。村里有不少鱼、虾、蟹养殖户，并有金银首饰制作店。[1]
