溪仔村在霞美镇东南部的沿海地带，东接董门村，西接山岭村，南与后辽村相邻，北与白石村接壤。黄埔溪从笼仔埔一带东流，经村内在港仔头注入海中[1]。
名称与沿革[edit]
村中多数自然村沿田墘溪而居，因此统称溪仔。早先村里设有墟场，叫溪仔墟。民国时期为霞美乡的溪仔保。新中国初期属第四区旧镇区的溪墟乡。1958年9月设旧镇公社北江管理区东欧大队；1961年撤管理区，改设溪仔公社，东欧大队属之。1964年溪仔公社并入霞美公社，东欧大队改称霞美公社的溪仔大队。1984年称霞美乡溪仔村，1990年随乡改镇。[1]
经济[edit]
耕地种水稻、蔬菜、花生和番薯，其中蔬菜是运往外地的主要农产品。村中有养殖大户经营的场地，培育并出售虾苗、蟹苗、鱼苗。[1]
