眉田村位于霞美镇北部，北面以大坑山与过田村分界。它的东北方是运头村，正南是五社村，东侧为霞美村，西侧接巷内村。眉田溪源于大肚湖山，东流至霞美村附近，最终汇入浮头湾[1]。
名称与沿革[edit]
村子在大肚湖山（清代称眉山）脚下，村前田园中间建社，故名眉田。清代属七都眉田保，民国时期归霞美乡管辖，为眉田保。新中国初期列为第四区旧镇区下的眉田乡。1958年9月改属旧镇公社五社管理区，设眉田大队；1961年7月管理区撤销，改隶霞美公社。1984年称霞美乡眉田村，1990年随乡改镇。[1]
经济[edit]
村中耕地以水稻、番薯、花生为主，果树有荔枝、龙眼、桃、李。大片山地已造林，属国家保护项目。[1]
