霞美镇在福建省漳州市漳浦县东南部，旧镇港以东隔港对着六鳌半岛，西面连着杜浔镇，北面与旧镇镇相接，镇政府设在霞美村。全镇辖1个社区和19个行政村，海岸线长13公里。2017年常住人口55271人[4]。沿海村庄以水产养殖为主要生计，其中牡蛎所产称「霞美牡蛎」[1]。1990年由乡改为镇，博雅地名网记其隶属古雷开发区[2]。

历史沿革[edit]

宋代这一带分属常乐乡与安仁乡，明清两代大多归入七都与九都。民国时期先后设霞美、白石两乡，1944年两乡合为霞美乡。[3]

新中国成立后，各村分属第四区旧镇区的几个乡。1958年秋并入旧镇公社，下设刘坂、五社、北江三处管理区。1960年5月取消管理区，另立霞美、溪仔墟两社，溪仔墟社于1964年归入霞美社。[3]

1984年，霞美公社转为乡，原有大队改称行政村。1990年4月霞美乡改设为镇，名称沿用至今。[3]

地理环境[edit]

镇域北侧以旧镇互通口为界，南侧紧邻杜浔互通口，海岸线长13公里。省道漳东线与漳诏高速公路穿境，沈海高速和201省道也从镇境经过。[1][5]

经济[edit]

丘陵地带的村子以务农为主，水稻、番薯、花生、蔬菜是常见作物，果树则有荔枝、龙眼、杨梅、枇杷、桃、李等。沿海村庄兼营渔业，水产养殖是支柱，养殖的有牡蛎、对虾、鲍鱼、文蛤等。[1]

古雷开发区政府网站的财政资金目录中，列有「漳浦县霞美镇人民政府」的2025年度部门预算等文件。[6]

名胜古迹[edit]

过田村的土楼贻燕楼为三层矩形楼，门上题刻1560年（嘉靖三十九年）的年款。运头村有庆云楼，建于1569年（隆庆三年）。[7]
