杜浔镇南端的城里村，东侧挨着湖里村，西侧是林仓村，南端靠近杜浔盐场，北侧连接路打村。[2]

村辖城里、埭头、埭里、山东四个自然社，东港溪由北向南流经村境，注入东山湾。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

明代，为防备倭寇，当地筑起埭头土堡，村名城里由此而来。康熙年间的《漳浦县志》记有埭头土堡位于九都。[1][3]

民国29年（1940年）埭头堡归埭头乡管辖，民国33年（1944年）埭头乡并入杜浔镇。[3]

解放初划归第七区，设城里乡；1958年9月，此乡转为杜浔公社城里大队。[3]

姓氏与宗族[edit]

城里与埭里两社以林姓居多，埭里有林氏祠堂。[3]

山东社原为杨姓聚居，杨氏奉南宋大臣杨维邦为始祖，村名与山东泗水的籍贯有关。据族谱所载，杨维邦随南宋少帝南下，死于船中，骨灰葬于山东岭，后人定居山下。[3]

经济[edit]

耕地以水稻、番薯和芦笋为主，并种龙眼等果树。村中有淡水养殖与芦笋罐头厂。[1][3]

村内有城里小学，1995年建新校舍。[3]
