近城村处在杜浔镇中部：林前村在它的东边，正阳村在西，后姚村在南，路边村在北。[1]

村北有狮头山，东侧有高塔山，省道漳东线经过村境。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

明代此地属九都大洋社，清代设有正阳保。民国29年（1940年）归杜浔镇的城内保，民国33年（1944年）并入原性保。[2]

建国初期属第七区（杜浔区）的城外乡，1956年并入杜浔镇。1958年9月，此地为杜浔公社的城外大队；1981年11月更名为近城大队。[2]

姓氏[edit]

村内共八个自然社，即后巷、白灰、楼内、城内、下河、青阳院、下尾雄与顶东，其中多数社为洪姓聚居。[2]

文物古迹[edit]

村中有杜浔正阳宫，建于清代。[1]

经济[edit]

耕地上种植水稻、番薯与蔬菜，农地部分种有荔枝、龙眼。村中有机板车运输户和个体工商户。[2]
