历史沿革[edit]
此地先前以郭姓居多，地形上有沙陂与平洋，故初称郭陂洋，到民国初年才叫过洋。[1]
民国年间此处为过洋保。建国初期划为第七区下的过洋乡，1958年9月转为杜浔公社的过洋大队。[3]
地理环境与水利[edit]
老鼠穴水库于1956年5月落成，库容为一百万立方米，系由县里主持兴建，用来灌溉村中农田。[3]
文物古迹[edit]
村中现存元代龙兴寺、清代鹿坑岩等古迹，另有下郑庙、龙迹亭等地。[1]
近年依托红色资源建成的龙迹亭为红色旅游景区。[1]
经济[edit]
耕地以种稻为基础，并发展荔枝、龙眼、枇杷、杨梅等林果种植。[3]
