历史沿革[edit]
明清两代，这里归漳浦县的十都管辖。1940年，本地设立一个保，划在后因乡之下；1944年，又并入杜浔镇。[1][3]
建国初期划入第七区，即杜浔区。1958年10月，它成为杜浔公社下的徐坎大队；1988年之后归杜浔镇。[1][3]
地理环境与水利[edit]
祖母林水库建于1976年，属中型工程，汇水区达40平方公里，总库容3508万立方米，用来浇灌杜浔与沙西两地的田地。[1]
村东侧有西溪流过，溪水往南归入杜浔港。[1]
姓氏源流[edit]
村民多为黄姓，明代由邻近的高山村迁来开基，分居于各社。[1][3]
