历史沿革[edit]
明清时代属二十三都；民国初年归外东区（第三区，即佛昙区）。1940年曾与邻村合为林东保，1944年另设东坂保。[2]
解放初东坂为一乡，归佛昙区管辖；1958年9月设东坂生产大队；1984年起设为行政村。[2]
人口与姓氏[edit]
村中为戴姓聚居地。明永乐三年（1405年），为躲避倭寇，戴姓后人迁入本村。[2]
经济[edit]
耕地4018亩，其中水田1339亩，旱地2679亩，水田多为埭田。[2]
解放后陆续建成石过坡、赤兰溪、杨美等中型水库，并修渠道把水引到东坂。1970年代的围海造田有740亩；1980年代的虾池超过3000亩；如今虾池约6000亩，吊蚵100亩。[2]
村内有冷冻厂、饲料厂、水产加工和供销公司等配套企业。[2]
产业与美誉[edit]
镇政府网站称，东坂村被农业农村部评为「万亩无公害养殖基地」，该页未注年份。[3]
