人坪村是佛昙镇下辖的行政村，位于镇境中西部，村名各取较大的自然村「人家」与「山坪」的一字。村辖人家、山坪、后仓等4个自然村，11个村民小组。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

清代属十七都石门上保；民国初先后归外东区和第三区，1940年归佛昙镇石门保。新中国成立初属第五区（佛昙区）。[2]

1958年9月，人家与山坪各自组成生产大队；1964年2月两队合成人坪生产大队；1984年起设为行政村。[2]

人口与姓氏[edit]

人家社原是施姓的聚居地，清初迁界时施姓多数外迁，复界后只有一部分回来。施姓出自漳州始祖施光缵，唐高宗时他随陈政、陈元光父子入闽开漳。[2]

其余自然村多为杨姓，户主大多是佛昙杨氏长房的后人。[2]

经济[edit]

耕地1245亩，其中水田488亩；低洼田三十多亩改建为虾池。1958年建成后仓垅水库一座。[2]

村中两家主要企业是鸿山石材有限公司和联佳鑫板材加工厂。[2]
