西示村位于漳浦县旧镇镇南部，北面接西埔，东面连狮头，西面与城外相邻，南面濒旧镇港。村内辖西示、经港两个自然村，全村610户，2276人。[1][2]

交通[edit]

旧竹线（佛旧线）是由旧镇通往竹屿的乡道，从村北经过，交通较为便利。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

民国时期此地属旧镇镇东保，解放初归第四区旧镇镇。1964年9月设西示大队，隶属旧镇镇公社；1984年9月改为西示村。[2]

姓氏[edit]

西示社陈姓为主，其祖先来自佛谭大坑，是监湖派的第四房（监湖派即太傅派在漳浦的分支）。经港社原名荆江，因音讹而称经港，居民有陈、吴、黄等多姓；其中吴姓42户，祖源石榴镇崎溪村，清代开基，建有祖祠。[2]
