桥头村位于漳浦县旧镇镇东南部，处在沿海丘陵之间；东面连埔尾，北面接霞屿，西面挨狮头，南面靠白沙。通往竹屿的县道从村中穿过。下辖六个自然村，依次为庙后、土园、港西、过田、径口、桥头，全村756户，3128人。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

民国时期此地为旧镇镇的桥头保。新中国初期归第八区埔尾乡，后于1956年10月并入旧镇区。1958年9月设桥头大队，隶属浯江公社；1984年9月改设桥头村。[2]

姓氏[edit]

林姓约占八成，多聚居在桥头、径口、港西、过田四社。其始祖子贤为深土路下林三房的祖先，开基于元末。陈姓约占两成，主要住在庙后社，其祖先自碧浦（今龙海东泗乡）迁来。[2]

经济[edit]

农业与渔业是村民的主要收入来源。村中有四十多人从事石料开采，另有大货车与拖拉机从事运输。外出打工者约400人，其中250人到省外从事对虾加工。[2]

古迹与风俗[edit]

林氏大祖祠原为三进，现仅存后进，用作老人活动场所。庙后庙是元代的大庙之一，祀开漳圣王，今已残存。清暑岩原为寺庙，现已废弃，尚存石刻。[2]

村民统一将农历七月二十六日定为妈祖神诞庆祝日，村内另设有南音曲艺馆。[2]
