苑上村又称坂上，位于漳浦县旧镇镇中部，北面与浯江、山兜相邻，东面与潭仔头、岩埭相接。村内有苑上、芹山、大林三个自然村，全村674户，2676人，三社均为林姓聚居。[1][2]

位置与水系[edit]

村子隔塔山（海拔222米）与霞屿村相望，西面以五斗山（海拔161米）为界与旧城村相接，南面以岩顶山（海拔192米）为界与城外村相连。苑上溪发源于芹山，流经村境后注入岩埭溪，再到锦东村汇入浯江下游。[2]

省道漳东线从苑上、芹山两社之间穿过；自火烧埔的省道山旧线分出的支线，在村内与漳东线交会。漳诏高速公路自芹山村至倒榕一段穿过本村。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

民国29年村为海乌乡的苑山保，民国33年海乌乡并入浯江乡。新中国初期隶属第八区龙苑乡，1956年10月划入旧镇区。1958年9月成立灯塔大队，1960年5月改称苑上大队，同时析出坂上大队；1984年坂上大队改设为苑上村。[2]

姓氏[edit]

苑上、芹山、大林三社皆为林姓，同属「乌石林」。苑上社的开基祖是乌石林第四世仙隐，后裔分居芹山、赤土乡万安，并远至泉州、广东等地。大林社属乌石林的大林宗，开基祖为仙隐之弟义益。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

苑上大祖祠的建造年代约在明代，为三开间三进的格局。村中的「双榕倒枝」俗称倒榕，电影《海霞》曾在树下拍摄外景。[2]

塔山山顶的「第一峰」石塔，为明天启四年苑上族人所建，至今屹立，是漳浦现存的大石塔之一。[2]

古代人物[edit]

林功懋为明嘉靖十一年进士，任广西按察使，曾在赤土建造万安楼。其子林士弘为万历八年进士，官承天知府，定居赤土万安。清乾隆二十五年举人林维乔，参与过《漳州府志》的资料采集。[2]
