旧城村位于漳浦县旧镇镇西南部，濒临旧镇港，是镇中心所在的行政村。村庄原名城内，因在旧镇城内得名；1981年因与湖西乡的城内大队同名，改称旧城。[1][2]

村内的城墙为明代郑氏族人为防倭所建，旧县志则记为漳州知府施邦曜倡建。民国时期，村内的镇西、镇北二保是旧镇镇政府的驻地。[2]

地理环境[edit]

村庄东面与城外村相接，西面与林美村为邻，南面隔旧镇港与郭厝村相望，北面隔山地与苑上村相接。漳东线与山旧线两条公路在本村会合，漳诏高速公路也在此设有出入口。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

旧镇在宋代已是集镇，名敦照镇；明代称旧镇，清末成为通商重镇。民国十五年村中已通汽车，民国二十年成为龙诏公路的要站，还有一条支线通往佛昙。[2]

新中国初期村属第四区旧镇镇。1958年9月此地设城内大队，归入旧镇公社；1981年11月因与他处同名，改名旧城大队；1984年9月又变为村委会，沿用至今。[2]

人口与姓氏[edit]

村内分城内、打墘、楼仔三个自然村。城内社以郑姓为主，其远祖自河南固始迁入，经兴化、永定而至南安双路口；城内郑氏始祖于元末至正二年（1342年）从双路口迁来旧镇，祠堂名通德堂。[2]

打墘、楼仔两社亦以郑姓为多，皆由城内社分传而来。楼仔社原名雨伞楼仔，因社中有雨伞楼而得名。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

海屋原为文人隐居修养之处，石洞中设有小佛室，周围有摩崖石刻，今改作老人活动中心，是县级文物保护单位。[2]

雨伞楼为清代的双圈圆土楼；大庙供奉辅胜将军李伯瑶与广平尊王吴汉，两者都是县文物保护单位；帝君庙祀关羽，庙旁立有清代碑刻。[2]
